A body has been found in the search for a man who went missing after jumping off a boat to “retrieve an item”.
The 46-year-old man entered the water at Manly Harbour in Queensland about 10.50pm on Monday.
Police said he returned to the surface briefly before going back underwater, and didn’t resurface again.
“Water Police, police divers and other specialist emergency services commenced a water search overnight,” police said.

“This morning, a body was located in the area and will now be formally identified and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
